I spent most of my childhood moving around the state of Alabama because of my dad’s job. Moving from town to town helped me realize how important church is. From an early age I knew I wanted to spend my life being part of these types of communities. When I was 18, I felt God call me into full-time ministry, and so I packed up and moved to Lee University to study church music. As a member of the Lee University Singers, I was able to travel the country and the world, and again, fall in love with the local church. After my junior year of college, I had the opportunity to intern at North, and just one year later found myself on staff here. It is the realization of a dream; working with the greatest life-giving community on the planet—the local church. I met my wife, Alli, at Lee University and we were married in 2013. We adopted our daughter Emerie in 2018, and have two dogs Gus and Griff. We have served at North since 2012.
