More Information

The Academy at North is a weekday preschool with a Christ-centered learning environment for babies 8 weeks old to Kindergarten.

Our program strives to provide each child the best early childhood education so that they may develop to their fullest potential: physically, academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

The Academy at North meets Monday through Thursday from 9am until 1pm.

Lunch will need to be provided.

During the day your child will experience and be taught:

  • Music
  • Daily Bible story
  • Circle time which incorporates learning the days of the week, the months of the year, seasons and weather
  • Development of writing skills, recognition of letters, learning the sounds of the letters
  • Number and counting skills

Children will learn through hands-on, get-messy activities. Outside play is also part of our day (weather permitting).

Children will attend chapel once a week.

Two music programs are presented each year.

We use the Abeka curriculum, which is a spiritual-based curriculum with focus on phonics, reading and writing. We also provide hands-on activities within the classroom and outside the classroom. We believe that both types of learning create growth and development of the whole child so they will be equipped with the skills needed to create confidence and independence to succeed in the future.

It is our goal also to come along side of you as parents and provide knowledge and spiritual growth for your children to become more like Jesus.
