DAY ONE | January 10 | PRAYER & FASTING: We are Called by God to Pray

…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. – 2 Chronicles 7:14-15

What adjectives would you ascribe to God after reading that God will forgive sin and bring healing?
How does it make you feel when you read that God will be attentive to the prayers of His people?
We recognize as we begin this 21-day commitment to prayer and fasting that as God’s people we need to boldly ask him for breakthrough in any heartbreak, challenge, opportunity, or difficulty facing us individually and corporately.
PRAY:
The promises found in today’s passage allow us to trust that God will be attentive to the prayers of His people. Take a moment to write out the bold prayers that you will trust God with.
