Children’s Ministry Pastor

When asked about my choice of future career by my elementary school teacher, my reply was, “Pastor, because they only work on Sundays and Wednesdays.” The students and I thought it was funny, but God took me seriously!

I came to know Jesus as my Savior at 12 years old during VBS and was called into the ministry in college after a few hard years of running from God. Following God has been the best decision of my life.

I love to learn. I have an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Ohio State University, a Bachelor of Science (Pastoral Leadership) from Lee University, and a Diploma from Rhema Bible Training College. The next goal is to complete my Master’s Degree. I am an ordained Bishop with the Church of God.

Michelle is the best wife, ministry partner, and friend I could ever have in life and I love being “dad” to Tiffany, Sophia, and Emily. As the only male in the family, I am very thankful to have more than one bathroom with four ladies living in our Georgia home.

I had more “cow trophies” than sports trophies growing up, and it was always difficult getting dates as a young youth pastor owning a 12-passenger van!

My first official job as a teenager was a church janitor, which today gives me deep appreciation for our wonderful North facilities team.
