Worship, Arts, Media, and Communications Assistant

I moved with my family to Cobb County when I was eight years old. I received Christ at the age of thirteen at a Bill Glass Crusade held at Marietta High School.

After graduation, I worked in various administrative and sales positions in the insurance and manufacturing industries.

While raising my children, I began to take a more active role in my church becoming the Women’s Director and leading Bible studies. Some of the highlights of this time were going on a mission trip to Ghana, West Africa where crusades were held that were attended by thousands of people where many were led to Christ, as well as taking groups of women to attend the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida. God used these times to profoundly impact my spiritual life and draw me closer to him.

Around this time, I also met and married Mark Flynn. We moved to Dawsonville, GA and while searching for a church home, God led us to North in 2001. We joined a life group and started developing strong relationships with other members and eventually we became leaders of our own life group.

In 2014, I started working at North as the Worship and Arts Administrative
Assistant and love being in the worship choir.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
