Pastoral Care Assistant

I grew up in Smyrna, GA between my home; with my daddy, mother and sister, and my grandparent’s farm land and beautiful gardens.

My parents and grandparents were strong Christians and in the ministry, so I came to know Christ at a young age. I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit when I was 12. I was part of the Mount Paran Central teen group, which had an incredible influence on my life.

After graduation from high school, I was on to Lee College where I was a member of the Lee Singers. I also met my husband, Dan, there and we were married in 1974. Dan and I have two beautiful sons, Chris and Jonathan and three beautiful grandchildren: Michayla, Hannah and Caden.

Dan and I have served over the years in many ministry positions, such as minister of music and assistant pastor at various churches. We served for a number of years as members of the New Life Singers and the small vocal group, Highest Praise, here at Central and North. Dan is currently a HOPE minister here at North.

I have a great deal of experience in the executive administrative assistant role, after working for The Home Depot Corporate Offices in Atlanta for twelve years and Dornier Med Tech in Kennesaw for ten years. I am honored that God has chosen me to serve the body at North in the role of Administrative Assistant, Pastoral Care and Counseling, and I am able to use my ministry and administrative gifts daily.

ODD FACTS

I was Homecoming Queen in High School (a long time ago, but a special memory for me). I sang the National Anthem at the Braves game.

“For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
