High School and College Pastor
I was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio and grew up a Buckeye fan.
I was raised in a Christian home and attended a church from the time I could see until I left home for Lee University. I studied psychology, earning a Bachelor’s degree, and then went on to earn a Master’s degree in School Counseling.
In 2006, I started work as a high school counselor in Cherokee County, Georgia. A year later God led us to Mount Paran North where we promptly plugged in as volunteers. In 2008, we began serving in the high school ministry and immediately found our heart’s desire. We faithfully served until late 2010 when God opened a door and called us as High School Pastor.
I have been married to Amber, the love of my life and ministry partner, since 2002. In 2014 we adopted our son, and blessing from God, Braxton.
I can recite all 50 states in alphabetical order in less than a minute.
“…one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
— Philippians 4:8
